Laura Podesta is a former CBS News correspondent and BBC contributor. Now a communications strategist and public speaking coach, she draws on more than a decade of national reporting experience to help clients overcome nerves, fine-tune their message, and captivate any audience.

Laura has coached hundreds of clients, including business executives, politicians, media personalities, athletes, and job applicants preparing for their next interview.

She recently guest-taught a public speaking workshop at Yale University and spoke on personal branding at the New York Stock Exchange during an International Women’s Day event. Laura has supported executives at events like SXSW and prepped CEOs ahead of live interviews on networks such as CNBC.

Before launching her coaching and consulting practice, Laura spent over 10 years as a TV journalist, with her work most recently airing on CBS Morning News, CBS News Streaming, and across more than 200 CBS affiliates. She lives in New York City with her husband, two sons, and their dog, Mowgli.
